Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment

We want everyone to be able to browse the collection, read the forecasts, and verify the on-chain receipts โ€” including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We build accessibility into the site itself rather than bolting on an "accessibility overlay" widget, because native, semantic markup is what actually works with the tools people already use.

2. The Standard We Target

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA (the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C) โ€” the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice and most courts for web accessibility.

3. What We've Done

  • Text alternatives: meaningful images โ€” including every card image on the forecast board โ€” carry descriptive alt text for screen readers.
  • Color contrast: text colors across the site (in both the daytime theme and Castle dark mode) meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Keyboard access: interactive controls โ€” tabs, filters, dropdowns, scrollable regions โ€” are reachable and operable without a mouse.
  • Labeled controls: form inputs and select menus expose accessible names to assistive technology.
  • Semantic structure: pages use real headings, landmarks, lists, and tables so screen readers can navigate by structure.
  • No overlay widgets: we deliberately do not use third-party "accessibility overlay" scripts, which are widely reported by assistive-technology users to interfere with the tools they already have.

4. How We Test

Key pages are audited against WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules using axe-core, the industry-standard automated accessibility engine, and re-audited when we ship significant visual changes. As of July 3, 2026, our key pages (home, souls leaderboard, oracle terminal, and card forecast) pass these automated audits with zero violations.

We're honest about the limits: automated tooling catches many โ€” but not all โ€” accessibility issues. Some things (like whether a reading order feels logical) need human judgment, which is exactly why the feedback channel below exists.

5. Known Limitations

  • Some pages embed third-party content (wallet-connect dialogs, block-explorer links, external marketplaces) whose accessibility we don't control.
  • The site uses decorative motion (pixel-art animations, marquee tickers). If any animation interferes with your use of the site, tell us โ€” reducing it is a change we're happy to make.

6. Feedback โ€” Tell Us and We'll Fix It

If anything on this site doesn't work with your assistive technology, we genuinely want to know. Email [email protected] with the page and what happened (and, if you're comfortable sharing, which browser and assistive technology you use). We aim to respond within a few business days, and accessibility reports go to the top of the fix queue.
